Tras muchos días de descanso y medio imposibilitada de poder escribirles algo -por tiempo, básicamente-, es que me decidí a hacer una reseña extra ordinaria para hoy, que ya por temas de agenda y organización, es un día libre.
Lo de hoy, tiene que ver con maquillaje, específicamente de labios, y es parte de uno de los tintes mate más amados hace años: Peri's Ink the velvet. Pero, éste es especial, porque también forma parte de una colección especial, aquella llena de brillos y ternura, llamada Pearly night.

Good day! Oh man, this wednesday feels like a monday haha, after a loooong weekend (in here, because we had labor day in between, so we took a sandwich day).
So, after this unexpected break, I'm here again to write about a product that arrived during summer.
It's a makeup product, it's a liptint that looks like a lipstick, that gives a matte finish that doesn't result into dryness...this is Peri's ink the velvet, but a more special version, because was one of the Pearly night collection, the cutest and brightest of Holidays.

El empaque de este tinte es totalmente parecido al de las versiones regulares de Peri's ink salvo por un detalle: como es colección navideña, tiene detalles en ese estilo, por ende la caja venía decorada con tonos rosa, estrellas y el globo de nieve.
Al interior de la caja, el tinte no tiene la típica tapa que imita un gotario, sino que esta vez el protagonista es el globo de nieve que contiene un dije de osita, con cuernos de Reno. El aplicador es el típico que traen los demás tintes, con aplicador de felpa y con forma de pie.
Fechas: en la caja y en la base del frasco de tinte vienen impresas las fechas de elaboración del producto, además del símbolo de caducidad tras la apertura, que en el caso de este tinte son 12 meses.

This Peri's ink packaging is totally similar to the regular versions, except for one detail: as it's a Christmas collection, it has details in that style, so the box was decorated with pink tones, stars and a snow globe.
Inside the box, the tint bottle doesn't have the typical cap that resembles a dropper, but this time the protagonist is the snow globe that contains a bear charm, with reindeer horns. The applicator is the typical one that other peri's ink have, with felt applicator and doe foot shape.
Dates: the manufacturing dates of the product are printed on the box and base of the bottle, in addition to the expiration symbol after opening, which in the case of this lip tint is 12 months.

Esta compra es el claro ejemplo de comprar algo por el empaque. Aunque no es una experiencia decepcionante, para nada.
Hace unos años atrás, probé por primera vez el tinte Peri's ink en su variedad velvet en una minitalla que lanzó Peripera junto a una maleta muy bonita que contenía las otras variedades y desde entonces no he dejado de alabarlo, tanto por su buena fórmula, como por el hecho de que puedes disfrutar de labios con acabado mate, sin sentirse a punto de quebrar, ni menos sentirlos resecos, como suele ser la experiencia con labiales de acabado mate.
Punto aparte, el empaque es muy bello, amo todo lo que tenga globos de nieve, asi que es entretenido ir moviendo el tinte para ver ese brillo tan lindo, pero tengan en cuenta que esto mismo hace que no sea práctico a la hora de traerlo en la cartera o un bolso más pequeño.
Esta vez, quise probar con un tono distinto, que la marca califica como MLBB (my lips but better), ya que los demás tonos que conformaban esta colección limitada no me llamaban la atención, y el dije que contiene el globo de nieve también cambia dependiendo el color elegido.
Duración: pese a que los tintes Peri's ink velvet si duran bastantes horas, éste al tener menor pigmentación (color más claro) se desvanece un poco más rápido que el tono sellout red. Sin embargo, puede resistir comida o café, y aún permanecer en los labios por al menos 6 horas, aunque se tiende a salir del centro de los labios.
Aroma: tiene un aroma suave, pero duradero a dulces. En el envase el olor es penetrante, pero se desvanece rápido una vez aplicado.
Textura y acabado: la textura es similar a un mousse tipo chandelle, por ello es muy fácil de aplicar, y a la vez de cubrir como si se tratara de un lápiz labial. Hay que tener ojo si tus labios tienden a la resequedad, pues este tono claro se nota más cuando se acumula en las líneas de los labios.
Color: este tono que elegí, se llama Beauty peak rose, que en esencia debería haber sido un color rosa suave, en la práctica y en mis labios dependiendo del clima se nota algo más anaranjado de lo que quisiera,. pero de cualquier modo es un tono claro al que no estoy acostumbrada.
Cuando recién se aplica, parece más claro, pero en cuanto se seca y se asienta, ya deja el color definitivo.
Es algo que recomendaría? Si tienes tez clara -23 hacia arriba- y prefieres maquillaje suave, es un tono que va bien. Sin embargo, si eres de tez más bronceada o prefieres maquillaje fuerte, escoge otro tono, porque éste no se notará en tu piel.
Algo importante que debo mencionar, es que este color que elegí, forma parte de la colección permanente de tintes the velvet, así que aunque esta colección esté casi descontinuada, si les gustó el tono, pueden conseguirlo de cualquier forma.

This purchase is the clear example of buying something for packaging haha 😁. Although, luckily isn't a disappointing experience, at all.
A few years ago, I tried the Peri's ink tint in velvet type for the first time in a special pack that Peripera launched (Do you remember that light blue Tin case?) . Well, that pack has all the different Peri's ink types existing by then, and since that moment when used the Peri's ink velvet, never stopped praising about it, wether because the nice formula, or because you can enjoy lipmakeup with a matte finish, without feeling about to crack into pieces, or less feel dry, as usually the experience with matte finish lipsticks is.
Point aside, the packaging is very beautiful, I love everything that has snow globes, so it's fun to move the tint bottle to see that little particles of sparkle, but keep in mind that this snow globe makes it impractical when it comes to bringing the tint into a purse or a smaller bag.
This time, I wanted to try a different color, that Peripera named as MLBB (my lips but better), since the other shades that made up this limited collection didn't got my attention, and the cute charm that contains the snow globe also changes depending on the color chosen.
Lasting: despite the fact that the Peri's ink velvet tints can actually last for several hours, this one doesn't that much, maybe because it's a lighter color and having less pigmentation fades a little faster than the "sellout red" tone. However, it can resist food or coffee, and still remain on the lips for at least 6 hours, although it tends to fade in the center of the lips.
Scent: has a soft and sweet aroma, but lasting. In the package the smell is penetrating, but fades quickly once applied.
Texture and finish: the texture is similar to a chocolate type mousse, so it's very easy to apply, and at the same time to cover as if it were a lipstick. You need to be careful if your lips tend to be dry or chapped, because this clear tone is more noticeable when it accumulates in the liplines.
Color: this color I chose, is called Beauty peak rose, which in essence should have been a soft pink color, but in practice and on my lips depending on the weather it shows something more orange than I would like. But, in any case it's a lighter tone to which I'm not used to wear.
When it is applied, it seems lighter, but once it dries and settles, it leaves the final color.
It's something I would recommend?
If you have light complexion -23 or above- and prefer soft makeup, this is a tone that goes well with your requirements. However, if you are more tanned or prefer strong makeup, choose another tone, because this one, won't be noticed on your skin.
Something important that I should mention, is that this color I chose, is part of the permanent Peri's ink the velvet collection, so although this Pearly night collection is almost discontinued, if you liked the tone, you can get it anyway.

En las próximas reseñas estoy dudosa, prefieren que les muestre otro tinte...los terminados (esa entrada será épicamente larga) o un cushion? Debo reseñar el que me envió Jolse, y la verdad aunque lo he usado poco tiempo y ya partí atrasada (la reseña debía ser hecha a más tardar el día 11 y el paquete llegó a fin de mes), mi opinión ya está muy formada y no tengo problemas en hacer esa reseña...
